Bees will produce only during the day, with the exception of nocturnal and Moon bees, while interbreeding all bees produce during the day, including the nocturnal and Moon bees. Irradiated, Toxic, Alien, Proto, Chromatic, Jungle and Fungal biomes increase Power and Energy Regen by 15% and reduce food consumption by 5%. You will want to progress through everything else of a given tier first before tackling hot worlds.
