Yes, slope is required to be maintained in KOD inlet and outlet headers towards KOD irrespective of the type of Flare KOD. So, pressurized gas e.g. N2 is used to drain the associated system e.g. pumps/vessel etc. This is not the case in tank farm, where you have mostly low pressure system API 650 / API 620 tank.
